Went to the drag strip last night, spun everywhere

Last night I went to Atlanta motor speedway for the first time. Right now I'm running nitto 555 285/40 on 18" rims and I literally spun 3rd and 4th down the track. While I was there, I heard multiple people talking about a new bf Goodrich tire that was decent on the street but awesome on the track. I was wondering if anyone had ever heard of it?

I was also wondering how wide of tire you can go? I have heard it was 305 but some guys were saying 315 last night.

It was so upsetting losing to a GT500 by 2 tents because I couldn't get traction anywhere down the track.

NT05R, NT555R, ET Streets, or slicks. The non "R" 555's pretty much suck.

Would you go with 305's on the back?
