Need torque specs for 2005+ Mustang 3V spark plugs

Found a couple more loose plugs. What is the proper torque spec for the plugs?

For the spark plugs its 34 Nm (25 lb-ft)
For the ignition coil-on-plug bolt its 5 Nm (44 lb-in)

Hope that helps

Six... Dealer pointed me to the #2 plug. I found the rest.

I appreciate the info... For some reason I had the torque spec at 14 ft lb. Could explain why my plugs loosened up on me.

Did those plugs just 'magically' loosen up on you or was it a result of something? Did you always have it torqued that that spec or did it come from the factory like that? You think this is an issue others, especially those with '05's, should take a look at? My car rides fine, but your mind can play tricks on you when you hear about gremlins in other guys' cars.

I had replaced the stock Motorcrafts with Autolite HT1s a few months back. Unfortunately I had only torqued to 14 ft lbs. So I did it to myself.

The feeling of screwing yourself is better than the feeling of someone else screwing you. That's the best therapy I can offer, lol. Good to hear your car is back up and running good.

You had better check your wheels

Putting in HT0s soon. Do you use anti-seize on the threads? How deep is the 9/16 deepwell you used?

Thanks!

It was a standard deep well plug socket. I did not use anti-seize on the threads. Why HTOs?? Unless you are running nitrous or FI, you don't need a colder plug. HT1s are fine.
