Wheels for an 07 Mustang Gt, will wheels from 94-04 fit?

I found a set of Black chrome FR500 wheels, on ebay, and on Cruzin concepts. Problem is that they both say they are for an 94-04 Mustang. i was curious if they would fit my 07, and if they did would i have any problems, they are 18x9/18x10 deep dish. Also what tire sizes would i have to run if these will fit. Thanks in advance.

They are not going to fit and you'll need to find something for 05+ as they do not match any of the previous years.

Good luck.

does anyone know if you can put a 15 inch rim on the back? found a cheap (free) set of steel rims (thinking slicks for the track ) and am wondering if they will fit around the calipers/rotors. i would just throw them on and see, but right now they have big a$$ truck snow tires on them and ill have to take them somewhere to get the snows taken off first. lug pattern is the same and the off set will put the slicks sticking out a couple of inches which is perfect.... shouldnt have any inside clearance issues...

Yes they will fit. It is very tight but the do fit. I put a friend of mines Bogarts on, off of an 04 Cobra and they bairly fit. I had to get a wheel spacer and slightly grind down the caliper but they fit.

Yes you will have issues with them sticking out a bit. the bogarts I put on were 12 inches wide and stuck out 1 inch past the fender. With the slicks I had on when I would launch the fender would slam against the slick. So be careful with that so you dont mess up your car.

I had some '04 and earlier 18x10s on the rear of mine. When I was on the Roush springs they were constantly rubbing the fender lip. Put the stock rear springs back in and they still occasionally rubbed. Destroyed the paint on the edge of the fender lip before I finally convinced Les Schwab that they had ordered the wrong rims.

i have a 07' GT and my wheels on my 04' fit on my 07' and i'm running staggered 18x10, 18x9's (saleen replicas) w/eibach sportline's and no rubbing at all! the rear wheels are not tucked in the fender but they are even w/ the fender lip, i'm not going to airbag my car so its not an issue for me, by the way the tires i have are 285/35 and 265/35 from americanmuscle. same bolt pattern but the off-set is just slightly off.

Not Sure If On Wrong

but i did some measuring and to put 15x10 rim and cant find the correct backspace 7-1/4 is needed to keep the tire inside the well with say a taller 28 inch tire and if you have a 2 inch rear drop its looks like the sway bar bracket on the rear needs to be trimmed and maybe loose the rear sway bar all together anybody deal with this yet?
