Antenna screw - I need a new one

I went thru a car wash and it broke the screw on my antenna. It still has just enough thread to stay on but barely. I tried to search for the part but didn't have much luck. It has threads on both ends - one screws to the base and the antenna screws on to the other.

Any idea where I can find such a screw?

I don't know if they sell just the screw. Check with your local Ford Dealer would be my best guess as I have never seen one for sale at a place like AM.

You can get both a 14 inch which I think is factory size and a 8inch for cheeper at:
2005-2009 Mustang Antennas | AmericanMuscle | Free Shipping

I personally like the 8 inch as it doesn't look so much like a RC car or as I have read on here a couple times the stock large antenna makes it look like we are trying to communicate to aliens in outer space... haha

I don't want to replace it all as that means getting at the radio. I'd rather buy a replacement antenna and just use the screw!

I have an extra take off antenna, you can have it if you want. Just cover the shipping.

I can't see the pic. If it's for an 05-09 GT stock I'd take it just for the screw.

What are you using for an antenna?

Wait so you just replaced your factory antenna with a AM short aftermarket? If so use the screw from your factory one like you are talking about doing below with someones else's. haha I must be missing something as I assume you would have already thought of this.

There's no screw with the aftermarket antenna. You unscrew the factory and replay with the new.

I have the 8" shorty from AM on it now. I have the OEM antenna just sitting around, mine is a 2007, so it should fit

I am 99.9% sure 05-09 antennas are all the same. I would also bet/pretty sure 99-04 antennas are the same as well. Not a 100% on that one, but 50% I would say.
