I don't know, but I bet it would be crazy loud and raspy . . . you are talking about the stock Roush mufflers, right?

Before you go forward with off-road X-pipe, be aware that "off road" means "illegal for use on public roads in the United States" . . . you can get away with it in some locations, but in some places it will create a huge hassle with very little performance gain.

The O/R's are ok, but the Roush Extreme is waaaaay better.

Wow yeah that does look pretty extreme! muffler delete?

Must be pretty loud, have you ever been to Lime Rock or other track that has db limit and and if so were you too loud?

Have not been to LRP, but NCM in Bowling Green, KY has sound ordnance and I've not been tagged...yet. Actually the Extreme is not to loud except under WOT. My car came with the O/R's. When I went to the Extreme, put O/R's on wifes GT Vert. Her car (in garage) would vibrate the house when she'd leave in the mornings. Hell, they both vibrate the house...

Straight through huh? No X or H pipe. I like it.
What was the reasoning behind X and H pipes?

X and H pipes balance the flows through the two mufflers better. You end up with a tiny bit less effective muffler restriction part of the time. An 'X' is the slightly better choice for peak power, particularly with a more restrictive pair of mufflers.

But power gains are far less noticeable than the differences in sound.
