Exhaust system need help

Soo I have a mustang gt 2005 bbk shorty headers, off road x pipe, and flow master exhaust it’s really loud love it but I want to be a little bit more quiet can I just install a muffler or do I need to re do the whole entire exhaust system

You could either replace the mufflers or add cats.

yep a quieter muffler would be the easiest way to quiet it down -- you could try stock mufflers; and with a little luck you could probably get them free since people want to get rid of them when they upgrade

I have a brand new set of Legato axle back mufflers (all SS) that fit '05 - '14 GT's that I'd like to sell. I have them listed on ebay as well. Make me an offer!

(BTW, I have the same exact set of axle back mufflers on my 2010 GT. They sound great and are definitely not too loud. And no "drone" at 2000 RPM as some other makes exhibit.
