Chin spoiler

Okay I have a 2005 V6
It had a chin spoiler on it when I bought it, I didn't know if I liked the way it looked or not. I got caught in a snowstorm and I made a lousy plow. I broke the spoiler. I took it off and now I think I like the way it looks.
I am looking to replace it but most of the ones worth buying and that will work with the car being lowered all say V8 only. What if anything is the difference in the front bumper between my V6 and a V8

Only thing I could think of is maybe, and I'm just guessing is the mounting but I would think it's the same all around it just doesn't have the V8 engine body specs should be the same

I think the front bumper cover, also known as the "front lower fascia" is different between the GT/V8 and the V6, so I think the chin spoilers would be different . . . pretty sure the underlying chassis mounting is the same but I'm not sure how the chin spoiler interfaces with the bumper cover / fascia

The GT's have a little lip at the bottom that helps the v8 chin spoilers attach to, they go in pretty tight. The v6 bumper doesn't have that and also the holes where you're supposed to screw the chin spoiler to on both sides are off, if you were to try to put a gt chin spoiler they won't align to the screw holes. I've had the v6 with chin spoiler and gt bumper with CDC chin spoiler. I have one v6 chin spoiler laying around in the basement but its windveil blue

I had a chin spoiler once. Dove off the high dive, and went so deep I skimmed the bottom of the pool coming back up the slope to the shallow end. It made it hard to shave for a long time!

I smile a lot. It makes people wonder what I'm up to...

Check out the chin spoilers by Classic Design Concepts (CDC). They make some of the best and best fitting chin spoilers, IMO.
