2005-2009 GT Grille pony package

There’s a board on this site asking about putting the pony package on a GT, which everyone said was impossible, which is fine, but at the bottom there was a guy who posted a picture of his stang and his grille has bezels around the pony very similar to the pony package, minus the fog lights. How did he do it?

Well after some searching I found how to do it - if you buy the pony corral chrome trim for the V6, you can cut and modify it to go on your GT.

This board has more detailed info/instruction if anyone is interested: https://mustangforums.com/forum/2005...-for-gt-2.html

And I found the part on Fords parts website. https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/bo...sert-8975051-1

That’s the link, but if that doesn’t work then the part number is part 8213.

I figured I’d post this because every other link/info is awfully outdated, so those links are current, and when they inevitably become outdated and no longer function you can always look up the part number yourself from Ford and follow the instructions
