it is possible to take out seats from a 2000 mustang and put in a 2005 Mustang?

i was wondering if it is possible to take out seats from a 2000 mustang and switch them with seats from a 2005 mustang. i was looking to switch the front and rear seats. if anyone knows if this is possible please let me know. thanks

Front seats will work, minor wiring and you might have to drill some holes, do a little light fabrication.

Rear seats are different size/shape, and COULD be adapted, but would require extensive re-upholstery (someone good with upholstery, if you want it to look right).

A convertible would be more complex.

Height of seats is different, too, so look from outside would vary. Beltline on the older Mustangs is lower than the S197.
