2006 Gt, 425-450 Rwhp?

I am planning (6 months time) to go supercharged I would love to have 425-450rwhp but i'm not sure where to start and what i need????
I would like to get there the best/cheapest way and still keep my car in the safe zone!! I think that is possible. Anyway, i have been looking at saleens, whipples, prochargers.
Are they the best out there?
and will they get me up to my target??
I also notice they say complete kits! How complete are they?
will i need any other "small" parts to go with it?
and where to get all of this? as i live half way across the world, i would like something to be 100% complete

I have completely 0% knowledge on chargers so any input will be good and i dont wana go turbo! no offence to all turbo stangs!

regards,

Just installed the JDM stage 2 Saleen supercharger on my car,Although I haven;t had it on the dyno yet I'm sure I'm in that power range.

The kit comes with everything you need for the install.

302 stroker, Saleen supercharger/supershaker,3.0 pulley,Comp 127300 with phaser limiters,60 lb. injectors,GT500 fuel pumps, JBA LT, JBA O/R Hpipe,Borla stingers,3:73 gears.

All of those brands will get you safely into that power range. I know at least Whipple comes as a complete kit(that is it comes with injectors, fuel pumps, etc). Dunno about the others. Kits like Saleen I have seen it come with or without certain parts depending on what kinda power you wanna make. I know JDM sells a few different Stages and flavors of it, so I don't really consider what Saleen offers, a complete kit. But that doesn't mean it's no good...just gives you more options with what to start off with.

Obviously ALL kits are complete if that means it comes with all the parts you would need for an install. Duh. Unless you get one of those "Tuner" kits, where you definately have to do some other shopping.

Decide if you want centrifugal or Twinscrew, then you can eliminate half the choices for a SC.

Most of the Twin Screw SC's are more expensive than centri's, but worth it. Centri's are usually a little more on the cheaper side, and are well worth it as well with the power they can make.

All superchargers come as either a tuner kit (supercharger only) or complete (tuner & fuel upgrades)

why are centri's cheaper than twin? is that because of future power upgrades? which is safer on the car?
i dont really care about upgrades, I think!!!! one more thing do their tunes need any modifying? are they perfect?

The tunes are a good baseline but it would be best to have it checked out on a dyno to ensure safety.

The way i am going to go would be Buy a hellion turbo kit or a HO Whipple 8psi intercooled kit.. its able to make up to 430rwhp with a simple rewiring of the stock fuel pump.. the tuner by me has done it many times and told me if i just want 400-430rwhp and no more dont bother with the full kit.. he said he'd modify my fuel pump. I think thats a good way to do it if money is an issue

i don't want to modify parts just to save money, money is no issue cause its still 6 months away and i can save whatever i need.
i still want to know what the difference between centri and twin screw? apart from a $1500 price difference!!
what is the difference in HP when increasing boost? i mean is there a fixed number for each 1psi incremental??

i was looking at kenne bells too, the 2.6L kit. but doing some research i found that they have issues with the belt!!! how common is that? or does that only happen when running high boost??
i'm still confused on centri vs. twin but if i go with centri, i'm goin with procharger. i have no idea what to choose for twin screw?!?! any hints??

did anyone hear the C-500 on www.cervinis.com???
I really like the sound when its shifting or off the gas pedal. how can i do that? is that possible with n/a engines?????
also it says 500, assuming its 500hp flywheel, does that mean its around 430rwhp?? i tried contacting them but with no luck

ok here the diffrence between the centri and YS as far as I'm concerned are the following:
TS makes top boost at ~2000-2500 RPM while cantri needs a little bit more and boost goes higher as the RPM goes.
both of them are belt driven. the TS makes that beutifule whining sound that you hear on SC cars, while centri sounds more like a turbo.
Basically a centri SC is a turbo that is belt driven instead of exhaust. make sure that the kit u get is intercooled becuase the weather in here is not going to be boost friendly.
if it were me I'd go turbo

What i meant by that is, if your motor isnt built man, theres no point to buy the full kit if you dont plan on building it. My point was why spend 1500 extra on fuel upgrades that you really dont need or cant really use to their fullest due to the "Safe zone" of the stock motor.. Make sense?? I might have worded it wrong, but i wasnt trying to say mod parts to save money, it was just a simple mod to get you to where you want to be (HP wise) and not have to spend 1500 on extra parts for no reason.
