does anyone know where to get a cheap one? I'm researching and all i can find them for is $500 and $600 is that pretty much what i'm going to end up paying or is there a site I'm unaware of?

thats the prices your looking at...unless you want a horrible hood. as the saying goes...what you get is what you pay. thats not to say you may not find one for a cheaper price. who knows, you may. keep searching...you may get lucky.

Never leave a good time to find another.

occasionally, cervinis ebay sales will have one on ebay cheap but their always damaged so unless you can fix cheaply, $500-600 is not a bad deal.

Have you tried Cervinis Mustang Import Dealer in the UK, C500, C350, C300 ? European stockists mean much cheaper prices now

You can also look into the California Dream hood. It looks almost identical. However, the price is in the same ballpark, but at least you can be on the lookout for that one too and maybe one of them will fall into your price range eventually.

Remember, you will probably have to also buy the ram air kit to direct air from the air inlets to your air box. Otherwise it lets air (and water) straight in to the engine bay.

Good luck with the hood. Hope you've allowed enough to have it painted. People tend to underestimate the effort, and cost, even with a good hood.
