Your car has been known to make 380-390 rwhp that would mean 437 - 448 crank hp more than advertised.

You are trying to hammer it @ 70mph in 4th and probably have either 3.55's or 3.31's not ideal for boost try comming down to 3rd and hang on.

If you still have questions come over to the Roush experts at www.fnsweet.com and ask but hang out here too I know I do

Your car has more in it than you can get out of it you just need to learn how to get it out.
That about sums it up pretty well!!!

Leave the little old lady alone. She's probably just heading home to Pasadena.

Yup. You're driving a fairly nice 350+HP V8 Mustang amigo... At 70MPH in 5th, get the RPMs wound up as your downshift and grab 3rd. Punch into the gas as 3rd bites... don't be shy... and hold on as your grin grows

According to these numbers from another thread here (https://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...d-mustang.html), you should be able to get 100MPH out of 3rd at 6000 RPM with a stock manual S197:

1st Gear
Ratio: 3.34
Mph/1,000 RPM: 6.6

2nd Gear
Ratio: 2.00
Mph/1,000 RPM: 11.0

3rd Gear
Ratio: 1.32
Mph/1,000 RPM: 16.7

4th Gear
Ratio: 1.00
Mph/1,000 RPM: 22.0

5th Gear
Ratio: 0.67
Mph/1,000 RPM: 32.8

I know this is a forum and you are welcome to speak your mind but you just let everyone else know how much you do not know by opening your mouth. If you had read the above posts you would have realized he was in the wrong gear to do what he wanted. Also his "tune" is able to be adjusted for free if there is a problem each car is different and sold to different places with climates that are not the same so adjustments have to be made. That is why Roush will have a dealer run a test and data log then send the info to them with your PCM and make adjustments and they do this for free under your warranty. No one can get optimal power out of the same tune in AZ and NH it just doesn't work that way yes a computer can try to compensate for some of it but not all. I live in OK and in the summer we are at 100+ and in winter about 20 my car runs different in these two conditions same car same tune get the point. I do not mean to just call you out I have seen more and more posts that add nothing to the conversation and if we were all standing around talking I would hope they would not be said because it makes you look ignorant. This car has way more potential in it than this driver has I have ridden with a Roush engineer at full speed on a road course and I have a real clue as to what I am talking about not just repeating something I think I half understood once on a chat board. People with Roush's should know where to go to get the best help for a real problem and that is www.fnsweet.com I come here for other talk and to learn about things that get missed over there. You do please have a nice day though and try to think before you speak.
