Hey guys i have an 05 v6 and i want to put on a new muffler to give my car the all american sound it needs. I was wondering if you guys can give me some ideas on what would be the best single bolt on muffler that would give me that deep throaty sound. There are lots of mufflers that will work well and all sound different- look on here for sound files and see what you like. I have a GT take-off that I love and that was very inexpensive (Ebay!). The muffler swap is an easy job you can do without even lifting the car.

Current ride: 2014 Deep Impact Blue V6 Premium Convertible with Pony Package.

Former ride:2005 Torch Red V6 Convertible, premium interior with dark charcoal leather. PIE aux input adaptor/XM SkiFi3, GT muffler, K&N drop in air filter, GT front and rear sway bars. CAI and tune in the near future!

Borla or Flowmaster A/T should suit your needs. A Flowmaster 40 series might be better because its a little mellower than the A/T but listen to some sound clips to decide.

The GT takeoff is a bit too high pitched for my taste. Believe me, it doesn't sound high pitched until you get a better sounding muffler on there and then you really see what you've been missing!
