Thinking of Stripes

I'm looking at some simple black rocker panel stripes. The place I priced them out at says they use Avery Premium Auto Grade vinyl and they are $150 installed. Also thinking of a blackout panel between the taillights and it is $100. This sounds pretty cheap.

Anybody heard of this brand of vinyl and how it is?

That is pretty cheap for stripes. I did find this site:
Bad Avery A8 Vinyl, Shrinking A-8, A-9, A9 - Avery Vinyl Distributors, Suppliers, Universal, FDC, Reviews, Problems Photos, Pictures, Examples, , FDC, Universal

Our car had vinyl stripes on it when we bought it off the lot. I will have them painted on one of these days. Shrinkage is my biggest issue with vinyl. My stripes have shrunk over the years. As much as a 1/16 of an in per stripe per side. My problem is that the guy who put the stripes on the car took a few short cuts literally. Instead of wraping the stripe over the end of the hood, he cut the vinyl even with the outside edge. Now that the vinyl has shrunk a small white strip of paint shows between the edge of the hood and the beginning of the stripe. Once my wife tried to put an air conditioner in the trunk instead of the truck. We ended up with a small tear in the vinyl on the bumper. Trying to get a color match at the local body shop after two summers worth of fading was a nightmare. Stone bruises are another issue. If you can afford to do so, skip the blackout panel and get your stripes painted on.
Just my two cents.

Thanks for the idea. I might go with that as I am on the fence whether I want to blackout the rear and am a little uncomfortable with vinyl there. I also eventually may want to paint the rear spoiler black.
