2007 Mustang GT tires

Hello,

I have a 2007 Mustang GT with the stock 18" billitt rims, i have the stock tires on the car now G Force t/a KDWS 235/50/ZR18. I want to put a little wider tire on the rear. what size do you suggest??? I think the "235" references the width. I dont want them too wide just a little wider than the fronts.

all input welcome

thanks the 72fins

255s would be nice on all 4 corners.

I agree. I have 255/45/18s up front and they would work great all around.

Can I leave the 235's on the front and just replace the backs with the 255's?

As both of you know the backs have a lot less tread than the front's..... lol, fronts are still good as far as tread and dont want to replace fronts yet.

how much wider are the 255's than the 235's?

So i would order what ....255/45/18's, and what exactly does the 45 mean????

A 255 is 20mm wider than a 235. 45 is the tire height.

I plan on going with 255's all around when i get tires and rims. That way they are a little fatter and you can still rotate them. You can't get bigger than 255's up front otherwise it will rub.
