Information on where to buy a 2005 Mustang convertible replacement top?

I feel like an idiot, as I had a plan to do all this, then it didn't work out. -sigh-
Warranty is out on my car and I need to replace the vert top, I want to go with black. Ford wants something like $1.2K for one top, not even installed. I've scoured the internet for companies that make replacement tops or sell OEM ones. Does anyone happen to have a few companies/sites off hand that would be able to supply a top to me personally, or a shop? Or shops in Texas that can do this for a much more reasonable price? I can't recall what the stock top is, between sailcloth, stayfast canvas, etc. I thought I had an idea about what to do with all this, but I dropped the ball. So I'm starting from square one, any information/experiences from you guys would be great, thanks!

Posts: 218 I've ordered things from this place and I was very satisfied all-round.

Their site is a little vague on what comes with a top order, but I'm sure you could call them and find out exactly what it costs and what you're gonna get.

Thanks man, I visited the dealership today to see if they could do me any sort of favors, turns out any sort of latitude that managers had to cut people breaks with near out of warranty deals is gone, Ford's got their belt tightened, I have to climb way up the ladder to talk to them about any sort of replacement deal. But I feel like I should, I looked through some interesting papers about my car today, turns out the previous owner replaced the top due to "faulty material" around 2 years ago now. So the damn top should at least be covered, since it has the same "faulty material" problem it did before. So, I mean this top broke down before its warranty would've run out on a car, that's a little disappointing. Anyway, the service manager, Ken at Park Cities Ford, who I've worked with before, after being transfered when Troy Aikman's Ford closed down (funny story how I ended up using Troy as my primary dealer, if anyone wants to hear), GREAT experience with them, but he gave me a number to call to a bit higher level up to Ford, so I'm going to talk to them, and write a letter to the highest branch I can find, to see if they won't fix something that's techincally their fault.

If I can't get that out of them, guess there's nothing else I can do except pay to have this fixed. I can't even wash my car in its current condition the thing leaks, it's so depressing seeing my car look like it's been playing around in the back country
