You may be right. Ford's have always had sloppy drivelines ( my 67 Cougar is no exception ), and the lca's may be making that more evident. Could be the new driveshaft I had them install to quell a vibration problem ( it didn't ) could be at fault, or the rear-end itself. I'm going to keep my eye ( or, ear ) on it though.......

There's probably some connection between my vibration at 72-74 mph and the slop/clunk. If it's the same with a new uca, then it'll be time for a dealership visit -- I got the extended 5 year warranty through Ford, so I got plenty of time...........
