Has anyone had any trouble leaky valve stems on the s197's?
I have lost 8 pounds almost exactly in 3 out of 4 tires. Feel free to google it and you will get about 36,400 hits. have a great day

In what length of time have you lost the air?

Air in tires

I have put air in my tires three times since June 3rd
Do I have those cheap valve stems from China and if so
does my warranty cover replacements

I just checked my tires last night and they are still right on. Last time I checked was in the spring.

Absolutely!
I still have the cra**y original valve stems on my '06 GT. I have to check tire pressure every 2-4 weeks because I usually loose about 3-5 psi in this time. But that happens only on 2 out of 4 wheels.
But next week the stock tires (got 40K miles out of them) will be replaced with as new set of Michelin Pilot Sport AS - thats when I will also replace the valve stems...

My '08, purchased in '07, has had ZERO instances of unexplained air loss.

However, I do (as anyone concerned about mileage, tread wear etc...) check pressure monthly.

This topic has already been brought up. I've had 2 go bad on my 07.

If they play, I spray.
