That was just on the Bullitt, and probably on the 2010 as well since it has the Bullitt engine in it.

No, there is no difference in the body. You'll have to find something else to prove him wrong (or right) with.

Like STL said in an early post on this thread, there were cooling system changes between the 05/06 GT's and 07+. Look at the cooling hoses and routing on the driver's side, it will be a quite a bit different between your 05 and his 07.

Or else look up the VIN.

What is the difference in Sonic Blue and Vista Blue. When i googled the 2 its hard to see a difference in pictures. Also Did they use Sonic Blue in the S195s? I saw a bunch of those cars come up in the search too.

Sonic blue was more purple looking. I believe people with real taste hated it, so they changed the color. LOL.

Comment on the original post:

The cars were basically POS until about the 2007 model, when they finally got their act together and started putting some decent parts in the cars. I'm not referring to major problems, but problems with just too many parts which had poor quality control in manufacture, or needed design updates.

Its because they all look the same between 05 and 09. What are you trying to prove him wrong about?

Never have had a single problem of any sort with my '05 ordered new from the factory, minor or otherwise. It's never even been back to a dealer since I picked it up.

Won't comment on the color opinion since it's just that

You can always check the inside of his vehicle to see if the radio has an AUX input jack. Mustangs didn't get those until the 2007 model year. So if his car has it, most likely it's a 2007 or above, if it doesn't it's probably a 2005 - 2006.
