September in The Park

The Derby City Mustang Club (Louisville, KY) is having their annual show in Carrollton, KY this September 11th thru the 13th. Saturday the 12th is the day to go since the show if over the morning of the 13th. We've had a few stangs convoy down before to check it out before and it's a really good mustang show.
Last time we all met at Modular Depot and went down from there. Now of course, MD is in Florence instead of Southgate.
I was thinking of meeting up at MD around 10:30 and taking off by 11:00 so we could get something to eat down in Carrolton around noon if we were hungry. I'm going to contact the guys at MD and also contact a few guys I know. If you think it might be fun, just show up at MD on Saturday the 12th around 10:30. If you are from out of town and would like to go, just PM me for directions.
Here is a link with show info...scroll down to page 5: http://derbycitymustangclub.com/forms/newsletter.pdf

You need to hurry up and retire so you can get out and have some fun.

September In The Park

As a member of the Derby City Mustang Club thanks for the publicity about the upcoming event (Sept. 11-13) at General Butler State Park in Carrollton, KY (about an hour from Louisville off of I-71). I certainly understand conflicts with those that can't get there until Saturday but Friday should be great as well. There will be a Pony Trail to a brand new road course for laps around the track, lunch back at a local winery and the Friday night welcome bash. www.derbycitymustangclub.com is the website and click on the Monster Bash logo.

I think Randy (Pikapp) above is going down for the Pony Trail run.
He'll be there for both days I think. Friday does sound good, but most of us will be working that day so our Pony Trail ends up being the trip down to Carrollton from Florence. It's one of the nicest if not THE nicest Mustang shows around the tristate area. A huge number of mustangs in one place. It's a shame that the Cincinnati area doesn't have a similar show, but the ride down to Carrollton is nice.

Even though I would really like to meet you Mark, it does make me feel better that a good guy like you is on the case looking out for us.
Don't work too hard.
