Looking for fresher air for P1sc1 procharger

I'm looking for a way to get some fresher/ cooler air for my SC. P1-sc-1 procharger Intake for compressor is located just above drivers side valve cover. Would a after market cowl hood work. I guess any hood that would allow heat to be released would be of a benefit. I've seen some hoods on this site that look interesting.

Any help would be helpful.

Filter location was the only reason I passed on the Procharger.

There are various hanging air fresheners available for automotive applications. Mounting one upstream in the air path of your intake should provide your supercharger with fresher air.

It always boggles my mind how Procharger leads vortech in HP per lb of boost, yet there filter location is right next to the engine...

+1 on aftermarket hood, they have gone down in price a little bit as well maybe you can get a gt500KR style hood while your at it... with a gt500 front end... Just a thought :smilie
