update on shabu and a question

well trans is out, but i cant get her apart to inspect the inside, so ima order the slave, gear set and rebuild and sync.


what i dont need i can return.


but the slave cyl. how does it work? i see its hydro, moves up and down. thats it. how does it work?

If you go to this link you will find a service manual for the TR3650. I hope it helps. Also you can get some more info from the online Ford manual in the 05 teck section.

He has a V6 not sure what tranny it is.

You have a press and the required tools to do the syncros and bearings?

Xcharger with water/meth injection, JBA headers
JBA duals with an H pipe, Roush springs, Che K member brace with torque limiters, Cervini's quarter window deletes, Canton polished tanks, Moroso fuse and master cyl covers, Cervini's cowl hood, custom GT500 chin spoiler, PJ rear louvers, Black rear spoiler, BSM custom stripes, Hurst shifter, Billet interior trim, custom door welts, Autometer dash pod, AEM wideband, Autometer boost & Fuel pressure gauges.

im haveing it done, a guy i knows gonna do it.

but i wanted to look at the gears, they been grinding for a while, that bad sync. and it dont help i drive it like a high powered dump truck.



i guess ima bite the bullet by new gear set, the rebuild kit and a synchro.


if the gears are fine ill return the gear set.

but basicly i just wanna know how the slaave works, i know what it is how it activates. just how does it go back and fourth and how does it work. you know
