Exhaust question. Bullet vs Glasspack vs Delete

Hey AFMers! Ok, so last night, I took my mufflers completely off and drove around. I actually liked the sound quite a bit. It wasn't super obnoxious except for when I wanted it to be.

Obviously, I will need to get some mufflers today or tomorrow. My question: what is really the difference between glasspacks, bullet style and deletes? Whatever I get, I would still get resonated tips (I guess to reduce popping, not really sure).

Anyways, what is the preferred/cost effective route I should take? I've had Flowmasters, didn't like the. The Pypes Violators sounded great, but not loud enough. Don't want to invest in Borla/Corsa. I saw SLP loudmouths, but don't really know what they are. Let me know what you guys are thinking! I appreciate it!

I have the SLP LMs on my 02 GT with the stock mid pipe and they sound GOOD! Not quite as loud as I want, but I like LOUD! So the O/R H im getting should solve that. As for you, the mid pipes on the 05+ flows great. I would recommend the SLP cat back.

Thats exactly the one I was looking at. What is the difference between that and a cherry bomb or boom tubes?

If you want deletes just go to an exhaust show and have them bend up some pipe and weld tips on the ends. No needs to spend hundreds of dollars on a "muffler delete system." With out looking too much into boom tube and cherry bomber, I dont think there is much of a difference. Just straight through design.

I own a set of SLP LM's and i enjoy them very much so. You can go the custom route for it but i doubt you'll get a tip at walmart thats close to the same quality as SLP's. Fairly dormant at idle (to be expected with stock cats) but sound GREAT on WOT.
