Wheel polish question...

Hi guys,

I have the 18 stock fan blade wheel son my 06 GT. There is a little haze on them as well as some swirl marks. Which wheel polish can I use to spiff them up a bit? Are they clearcoated?

I've been wondering the same thing. I have the 18" polished aluminum wheels on my '08. I know they make special polish for aluminum. I thought about using the Mother's power ball.

I'm referring to the space between the blades...the blades themselves have a textured finish.

danzca6...I think it all depends on whether or not they have a clearcoat finish.

These wheels have a clear coat from the factory. Aluminum polish will ruin the clearcoat. You could strip them and then polish but more effort than its worth. Try Meguire scratch/swirl remover than polish using Meguire Carnuba wax.
