Need handheld tuner help?

I found a guy selling a sct x3 from his 2001 GT. He sent it to SCT and had it unlocked and all vehicles removed. What should I look for when buying a used tuner? Will it work on my 07 GT?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the one for a 2001 will work for your 2007 mustang. Your better off to buy a new one and not take a chance it won't work with your car.

It also depends on how cheap it is ,add it up. For example from AM you can get a tuner and 3 tunes for 379. If you get a used tuner for 150 and still want 3 cool tunes for another 150 , your at 300 bucks. Thats only 80 bucks cheaper in the long run. Now you add an intake to that and the package deal is even better.

If I wasnt saving for FI I would have bought a intake tuner package buy now, but I still think I Should just pick one up for the time being anyway, at least the tuner isnt a waste if ever can afford FI. And if I get in in a package and divided it up the C&L racer only costs me like 200 bucks.
