Trunk Latch 06-07, vs. 08-on

Hopefully some can tell me if there is a difference in the 05 and 06 trunk latch against the 07 and later Mustangs. I have an 08 V6 convertible.

The number for one I can get cheap is 6R3Z-6353200-B but it is listed as only for the 06 and 07. The 08 is has a number of 8R3Z-5443200-A. I am not sure if Ford just changed the numbers and they are the same or if there really is a difference in the 08 trunk and latch.

Thanks for any help.

to my knowledge, there is no difference between any of the S197 model years. But i'd always buy the one that says its for your year, just incase ya know?
