2010 V6 stereo upgrade

Crutchfield.com suggested the JL Audio J2 320.4 60W x 4 and I had recently put in (4) 6x8 kickers rated for 60 rms each. The amp will deliver 60 rms as well.
Due to the basic head unit the JL amp comes with internal line voltage to reduce the factory radio amp output.
I need to pull the double din head unit out and have been looking for someone who has done this.
I am thinking of putting the amp in the trunk,it's footprint is about 16x19.
I have a 5speed V6,2010.
