2010 Mustang Generation?

Ok-

so the 2010 mustang has the S197 power plant and drive train, but is the new body style. Is it still considered an S197? I'm just looking around the internet and can't get a definite read on this, it's just out of curiosity's sake. I'm assuming its not classified with the 2011+ because of the drive train changes, it's kind of a lone duck.

It is still classified as S197 as the 2011+ are as well.

Yup. Because S197 is the chassis, not the drivetrain. 05-12 are all S197s, and it looks like it will be 05-14 depending on when the new body comes out.
