I just googled 2014 mustang to see if there was anything on one and that's where I seen it. A 4 door like come on Ford why mess with a great thing, a mustang has had 2 doors for like what 50 years.

They are all just concepts. 98% of them are never the car. I don't think Ford would make a 4door mustang. Even if they did it would just need to be something we would have to adapt to. Like the STI has a few different styles. Whats even worse is they are pushing to get rid of v8s all together to become more fuel efficient. GM Has plans to make a 3.0 turbo corvette.

Years ago Ford built a car that was supposed to be a front wheel drive Mustang. When news about this got out, there was an outcry from the public which saved Mustang, but since all of the expensive engineering work was already done for this "New and Exciting" car, Ford renamed it the "Ford Probe". The Probe, the new Mustang? I still get ill thinking about it. Even the name "Probe" reminds me of something that you'd put where the sun don't shine.

I hope that I'm wrong, but it appears as if there's a movement for history to repeat itself. Only this time any outcries may not be heard. I sincerely hope that I'm wrong.

Garage
If they sold a 4 door as well as the 2 door they would sell a TON of 4 doors. Look how popular the Charger is.

1988 Mustang LX coupe will miss you greatly
traded for:
2004 Mazda 6s 5 door Sport w/5spd/3.0/RX8wheels/Kon/Eibach/and then some

Everytime that I look at one of the new Chargers, I shake my head and think about what a good looking car it would be as a 2-door. Its got a nice roofline, but damn those extra doors.

If they did make a 4 door Mustang what would be next a Hatchback Mustang. Keep the Mustang a 2 door.

So you like this?

There's a couple companies that do this conversion. Some look like a Camaro in profile, but hey its a 2door.

Now, doesn't that look better? I'd love to know if the 2 door, if Dodge were really building them, would have outsold the 4 door? I bet the cost for the conversion wasn't something an average person could afford, let alone the car in R/T dress.

That's a nice photo, though. Thanks for sharing it with us, jstafford1.
