We can definitely hook you up with a Shorty Antenna: Fixed Chrome Mustang Antenna - 8 inch (79-93 All) - Free Shipping! (We do have more options, Black/Chrome 8in/14in)

If you do find it cheaper but would like to give us a shot, we do offer a price matching. Let me know if I can be of any assistance.

Received my 8 in from a previous AFM Secret Santa. Love it! A lot better looking than stock. Not sure how the reception is, I never use it.

My choice was to just take off the towering antenna, who needs a radio, not me anyway. Between my I-Pod, MP3's and CD's I have more music in better quality than I can ever listen too. Plus there's no commercials and it's all the music I like, even better the stang looks good

I just cut the stock one down. It was cheap, easy and made for an overall good look. Also I didn't lose any reception from doing it either. Just throwin that idea out there as well.

I picked this one up last year:

The reception is OK, but I mainly listened to my iPod anyway. Now with my new exhaust I don't even listen to the iPod anymore either!

I got the AM 14" antenna. Originally ordered the 8" but it was back-ordered so I was impatient and switched to the 14" and I'm very glad I did. The top of the antenna lines up almost perfectly with the roof line. Looks great.

After installing the 14" my buddy with an '87 GT stopped by. We compared my OEM antenna with his... apparently ford used the EXACT same antenna from (at least) '87 through (at least) '05. We installed my OEM antenna on his car to replace his chipped up old one, works perfect.

Guess ford followed the "if it works don't change it" mentality on antennas.
