To me what ford does sounds better than saying you the consumer are paying for 180 horses with v6 insurance even though thats the reality.

Top gear hates american cars though, they use every oppurtunity to bash the U.S. Especially when they put European sports cars against American muscle cars on race tracks. Why not drag race American muscle vs European sport cars if the european's think they have the best cars in the world ? I am sure a mustang gt roushe stage 3 would abuse a Lotus Exige in a drag especially with the amount of torque, the lotus is supercharged so its a good match that would be in favor of the mustang next time . Anywho i hope the site I posted before helped with the discussion 180 horses 210 torque 2005 v6 stock dyno'd.

Just my thoughts

That would be a nice ass woopin...I just got back from a nice mountain run with some people I met on the streets. Thought there front, and awd drive imports could waste me on the curves since they couldn't on the straight. Lancer, 3000GT, A4 quatro 2.0t, RX-7 were my opponents, all had something done to it. In the end, I was bored and had to open up my ponies to embarres them at their own game. Plus I threw in a nice 180 at the end for show. I'll never drive anything but an american pony car!

Honestly, I'm not sure about that. MotorWeek did a road a road test of the Lotus Exige S and it got the same 0 - 60 times as the Mustang GT500 despite being a little under 300 less horsepower than the GT500...but then again, it's extremely lightweight as well. I think the Lotus Exige S would more than handle it's own in a straight drag with a Stage 3 Roush Mustang and a Shelby GT500. Numbers don't lie and really I think it would be a driver's race between the 3.

For Play: 2011 Ford Mustang v6 Premium Coupe w/Pony Package. Stock...for now.

For Work: 2011 Hyundai Sonata SE. The fun daily driver.
