Floor popping under my heel - Annoying!

Ok this is really starting to drive me nuts. The floor under my right heel pops down and up with me moving my foot from the gas to the brake. It's really loud and is starting to get on my nerves....I have not pulled anything up but I'm wondering if a weld or something that did not quite get tacked down properly. Anyone seen this on thier stangs?

Yep, sometimes while getting out of the car. The floorpan feels weak there.

I have the same problem on my 06. Seems like the floor pan is weak in that area. I hope this isn't going to be a rust worry down the road.{like the old stangs.}

The floor is popping? My old CJ7 Jeep used to do that Ö after 10 years of beach driving next to the ocean when it rotted out. This turns my gut thinking about it. I have no name for my stang. How about "The Tin Can" .

I forgot about it because it has not happened for awhile now, I think because I noticed it when it was very cold out (below 20) It has been somewhat of a mild winter.
I also had a 86 Mustang that the floor pan cracked and had to be welded.
Now excuse me, I have to take a nap
