I have a moss mustang shorty antenna, the 14" black one. Its great. I was stupid and bent it however when putting on the car cover. So other than my stupidity, a great buy

Don't know if you wanted other opinions/experiences but I put on an 8" and it definitely affects radio reception but I don't listen to the radio much so I don't care.

I had an 8 Inch from American Muscle and it can't be much different than the Moss Mustang one. It was decent radio reception not as good as the enourmous stock antenna but worth the buy if your into looks more than your radio. Mine unfortunately broke when I was putting the car cover on it and I got an antenna delete since then.

I purchased a shorty from Moss and it was red in color but it didn't match the red on the car so I ended up returning it. Meanwhile I read on another forum about a bunch of folks who just cut there oem antenna down using a dremel tool. It took me about 15 minutes to remove the ball at the top of the mast, cut it down to about 17" and re-glue the ball. Reception is great and it looks a lot better than original.

No real loss in reception until you get way out in the boonies.
Not sure how much it matters, but AM670 in Chicago I was able to still pick it up and listen to the Sox game when I crossed into Ohio. Now thats reception, lol.
