Xenon Ducktail

Anyone have pics of the Xenon ducktail spoiler installed? I've looked around the internet and couldn't find very detailed pictures. Also is installation done with bolts or some kind of adhesive (ie 3-M double sided tape...)?

If you check on ebay, and do a search for the Xenon spoiler you will see one installed. The spoiler is installed using either 3M tape alone or in conjunction with screws (depending on who is selling it). By the way, very nice Stang...it reminds me of another Stang I know....mine!!!!

Here is a pic or two of an insttalled Xenon duck tail spoiler on a hardtop only. Could not find a convertible with it. If you find one, please post, I am interested in seeing on a vert as well.

The center portion is screwed on. The two smaller parts are held on by 3M tape. The Xenon ducktail covers the original holes for the spoiler.

Thanks for the replys. I have seen those two pictures before but I was hoping that I could get a top view of the spoiler installed so I can get a feel for the depth (length front to back).

mrvandermey, love the black with red vert...beautiful thing and not too many around!:thumbsup

Wood, I can't tell from your avatar if you have the spoiler installed but I'm guessing you do since you know how it is installed. Can you post some pics??

I'll have mine installed soon, got a quote of $303 painted and installed from my friends body shop. Wood did your shop say how difficult it was to install or how long it took on that perticular peice of your body kit?

I'm quite surprised that my original $300 estimate was that close. I figured at least $50 one way or the other. The body shop didn't mention any problems with the ducktail. I don't think they had any issues with it.

Well I tried to give my ford dealers repair center another try(last estimate from them wanted too much) but they wanted $435. So i went back to my friends shop where I had my hood fixed at(see gallery) and he said 303. As soon as I saw that I thought damn, wood was damn close. You should probably go play the price is right or something :kooky:
