Just got an e-mail from CalMustangs about their new items for the S197 and saw these:

Why would you want to cover the speaker face??? Would it not distort the sound???

I can't believe the prices they're getting. I'd like to dress up the speakers a little, but the only ones I've seen that I'd even consider are the 3DCarbon ones, and I'm not paying those prices. Actually, a guy over at musangforums has used a set of aftermarket (Rockford Fosgate??) MOMO speaker grills that look really good, and are about $40, but you can see the cheap speaker underneath. Not a great solution until you upgrade the speaker

2005 Satin Silver GT 5spd, IUP, ICAP, bullits, active alarm, lug locks, side a!rbags, shaker 500, XM Roady 2, JLT cold air, Xcal2 w/ SCT 93 oct tune, & custom fab'd ram air duct, BMR Sway Bars, Hurst Competition plus shifter
Custom blackout on hood and trunk with Steeda street wing and Ford Racing hood pins

Thumbs down

It is gaudy looking and the price is in Jupiter's orbit. Are they hand-made; would that justify the price? Not in my book. The next thing you'll know, someone will be offering billet-headliners.

Prev. owned: '65 Coupe, '84 GT, '86 LX w/ 5.0, & '05 GT Prem.
