Woe to him who builds his palace by unrighteousness, his upper rooms by injustice, making his countrymen work for nothing...Does it make you a king to have more and more cedar?Did not your father have food and drink? He did what was right and just,so all went well with him. He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well...But your eyes and your heart are set only on dishonest gain,on shedding innocent blood and on oppression and extortion. AND, the STi, not the standard WRX is the 300hp model, gets 16mpg on a good day...
And it IS over $30k

I paid $27k for my mustang, and other than the cars that cost a fair amount more, THE OTHERS DO NOT HAVE THE SAME LEVEL OF PERFORMANCE!!!!!!!!!

They may have 300hp, or close to it, but if you think that any of those cars will touch a GT, you are losing it. (other than the four I mentioned.)

I Hate GM, deal with it.

We're just jerkin the 33yo streetracer's chain, man.

If he wants to set up a straw man to punch away at, we can do the same. We take the heat by turning the tables.

Both cars are good values. Otherwise we wouldn't all be here, right?

Mustang V6

Torque (lb-ft) 240 @ 3500 RPM

http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/Sp...tang&trimid=-1

The 30 ft/lb difference between the torque curve and the hp curve indicates a lot of available hp in the Ford 4.0L v6

I wasn't trying to turn the tables... I was just pissed that the GT V8 is about as weak as an Infiniti's V6. It's not my fault some people are sensitive about the subject... Hell, if anything I'm on you people's side! The V8 should have more if Infiniti's V6 has 300 HP!

And the infinti's 300 is not able to beat the mustang's 300.

What is there to be pissed about?

The same can be said for many honda v'6's and such.. im just too lazy to look up the numbers but i know for a fact my old prelude would give the v6 a run for its money so your arguement while valid serves to down play the v6 just as bad.

V6 to V6 is fine..... I'm not happy about it already but what pisses me off more is the V8 to V6 comparison..... I think that's a little worse.

What are you talking about?

Paste: The new Infiniti M is available with a choice of V8 or V6 engines, with the vehicles designated M45 and M35 respectively. The M45 features a powerful DOHC 4.5-liter V8, shared with the flagship Infiniti Q45 and FX45. It is rated at 335 horsepower and 340 lb-ft of torque. The M35 utilizes an advanced DOHC 3.5-liter V6 rated at 280 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. The V6 is part of the award-winning VQ engine series also found in the G35 and FX35.

Well I was actually looking at the G35 coupe manual. Go to the Infiniti web site, I guess?
