Video of FRPP (Borla Stingers)

Here is a video I made with my 9 year old son as the camera man.

Its the FRPP borla stingers. I love the sound but my gas milage has suffered a couple of points (can't stay out of it now!)

That sounds REALLY, REALLY good. How intrusive is the sound inside with the windows closed? BTW, isn't that contributing to the delinquency of a minor?

Also your car seems to have grown gills by the end of the video.

new link, better quality-less compression..

I was waiting to see if anyone said anything about the louvers. I got both delivered the same day (louvers were $120 painted off ebay)

I did the mufflers first and the louvers latter the same day...

I did have a talk to my son about that actually.....

I'm 41 years old and I have had only one speeding ticket in my life (62 in a 55!) I usually drive the car like a grandmother but this was all for the camera....

That's the exhaust I've decided to go with. Thanks for the link. You may want to also put those over on http://www.mustangexhaust.com as well, as I don't think there are any good links with this combo.

It was difficult to judge what the sound is like inside the car from the video. Is there any resonance or other annoying noise? How does the sound level at, say, 50mph, compare with stock?

Sound level in car

I does have a bit of drone but I actually like a little bit of drone. It kind of reminds me of movies like vanishing point where you could always hear the motor when they were shooting in the car. It might get a little old on a long trip though.

They do sound good. Have you added a CAI or are you still stock airbox? A CAI changes the sound from the exhaust as well. Really liked your deep dish wheels, what brand, size etc....FRPP Chrome 18 x 9 Billets by chance???

The wheels are from mustang tuning, they are 18x10 and 18x9. I had some blue pony emblems made up to cover the lame center caps they came with. It makes them look like old Cragars from a distance.
Everything under the hood it stock right now. I was wondering how much cai would effect it. I had a Camaro with a magna flow on it and the CA did effect it more than I thought it would.

I had the Flowmasters put on before having the CAI done and the exhaust sound did change for the better. Deeper, throatier sound. Have no complaints at any speed, even on full throttle, sounds really good...the muscle car sound.

That's the vision I had loooking at your wheels, the old style deep dish cragers....they look good on the pony. Hell anything looks good with pony..

No no, that's "setting a good example". I get them totally backward a lot too.

2006 Black, GT, spoiler delete, five speed, leather, custom welded straight pipes with resonators, sequential turn signals, Hurst Pro Performance shifter. FRPP 4.10s with Motive bearing kit, Spydershaft one piece aluminum driveshaft, w/ Spicer 1330 U-joints, Steeda UCA and LCAs, chrome moly panhard rod. bye bye wheel hop, hello traction! SCT XCalII, BBK CAI, ZEX 100 shot.
I've written a book or two. Google David Buschhorn to laugh at my scribblings.

Had some pics in my gallery, but deleted them a few days ago so I could add new ones. Recently added side quarter windows louvers and have a CDC chin spoiler coming anyday now.
The shop that did the stripes is out of Englewood, OH ~ Yipes Graphics. They do unique work and I wanted something different, they showed me this idea from the 70's era and it was a hit. Having the GT 300 changed in a few weeks to GT 350 due to the mods.
