Please Help; I.D. Intake System

A person I know is looking at a 2008 GT, and in the ad there is this picture;

That does not look like a stock 2008 intake system to me, as it doesn't look at all like the intake system on my 2005 GT. Did Ford change the design between 2008 and 2008? Or is that something else?

That is the stock air box for 08.

Ford changed them after 05 that's why it looks different. The 05's where more restrictive.

If you mean the silver "powered by ford" part, it's just a plenum cover. They didn't come on the earlier s197's and were either standard or part of an appearance package on the later ones. I bought mine off of craigslist for $20. Had to replace the upper throttle body studs with longer ones for it to fit.
