Shaker stereo, is it possible to add bluetooth?

Hey guys, in looking at the wife's new car, she has the shaker stereo. It has the phone button on it, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I'm assuming that it is some sort of bluetooth package that the car does not have. Can anybody confirm this or let me know if I'm wrong.

Also, is there anyway to add a bluetooth package to it without getting a whole new stereo?

If she has the shaker then it has the Bluetooth. Have you looked in the owner's manual? It should tell you how to connect your phone. With mine I hit add Bluetooth device on my stereo and it have me a code to put in my phone when my phone discovered the cars Bluetooth.

Also, just noticed it always says no phone when I hit the button. I noticed others said it mutes it, but mine always says "no phone"

The Shaker 500 didnt come with blue tooth before 2010. You need to install an aftermarket kit if you want blue tooth.

The button with the phone on it is just a mute button.

I didn't know that. I have a 2010 so I've always had the Bluetooth. You learn something new everyday.
