So I went to South Bay Ford and looked into the '06's I wanted a sonic blue convertible GT, manual ofcourse. The only thing they had that I would even consider getting was a black coupe with regular rims (not bullits) and no IUP. Then the f'n salesman says to me we will give you 18K for your trade in. I almost kicked his ass. My car is in perfect conditions although I do have 22K miles on her. But I've heard of some coupes getting 22K-25K for their trade and the vert is more expensive. I think I'm just going to stick to my '05. All the other GT's they had there were all auto and I refuse to drive an auto muscle car (just my personal taste).
I also called Cerritos Ford which is where I bought this car and they have one vert but it's Lime Green and that's a little too bright for my taste.

Silver '05 Premium Convertible,5 Spd Mnl,IUP, C&L CAI, Bassani Axle Backs, Predator 91 Octane Tune, Hurst Shifter, IVA-310 Alpine touch screen stereo, 10" W7's 1500W HiFonics amp MB Quartz component speakers 600W HiFonics amp.

Actually, he is just offering what Ford is offering. There is no cost adjustment for "credit challenged" folks. Anyone who gets financed will get the 0% on an 06.

The disclaimer on the Ford site says "not all applicants will qualify for 0% Ford Credit"

I looked into this at my local dealer. they only had 1 06 GT left on the lot and it was an auto. My 05 LL GT has 13k miles on it, I've made 15 payments on it. When a salesman finally came out into the heat he told me there was no way I could get the car with a payment lower than what I have now. Didn't even look at my car, didn't even ask me what kind of payment I was making. Hell, he didn't even seem to want any business. The GTs are apparently still hard to get around here.
