Superchargers for an 05

Ok I know that there are a ton of threads on superchargers but. I am seriosusly thinking about putting one on my 05. I need input on which one to buy.
I am not looking for 700 hp.
It will be a screw, because I love the sound they make.
It will be a complete kit.
I like the Roushcharger.

Positive displacement is definitely the right ticket. The Roushcharger isn't a bad route to take, if it's installed by an authorized installer, you'll keep your factory warranty also. However if you're not too worried about the warranty, look at the Kenne Belle lineup. Their results can't be argued with.

You can't beat the Kenne Bell for being a complete kit and great horsepower.
You'll get lots of ooh's and aah's when you open the hood.
Driveability is great.

Mid 11's with roadrace suspension on a Saleen S/C with JDM Engineering Stage II upgrades on stock longblock. JDM went high 10's before replacing their longblock. Once my suspension is dialed in I should be able to see low 11's with my setup on 17" M/T E.T. Streets. This is with a conservative street tune on a full weight car.

go with the roush, its sweet. the intercooler is all built in underneath the manifold, it has a 36,000 mile warranty, will not void your factory warranty, will kick you up to 415 hp on only 5 psi of boost, which is nothing in terms of boost. it can be boosted higer very easily with smaller pulleys. install can be done yourself, instructions are said to be the easiest of any s/c out there. price is a bit higher than others, but it would be worth it. if you get it, spend the extra 200 and get the polished version... it looks awesome:eyepoppin .... oh, and post pics.

Go with the KB or Whipple. My tuner says the Roush blower isn't as good, you just get to keep your warranty and spend a lot of money when you can get something better.

The KB and Whipple are complete setup's. I think the tune that comes with the KB is for a stick and not an auto.

My tuner was putting out 575hp on a rebuilt motor with the KB.

I have the Saleen S/C and putting out 420hp/390tq. But I would rather have the KB or Whipple.

Keep an eye on your cats also, the right side cat have been going bad. My tuner told me my right side was real bad.

TURBO! Powerhouses unit is nice... The Snow Performance one is at a great price, just make sure to get a cooler! Now there is a sound to LOVE!! Dial in your boost depending on driving, no need for LT headers...

On the SCs, as above... don't know how much you care about your warranty but if you do I'd go FRPP (Whipple), problem with that and Rouch is install cost... even though they're kept to X amount of hours those hours aren't cheap... I think they have to install it for warranty? If I didn't drive so much highway I'd put a KB on mine... if not a turbo of course...

The Roush unit is not a twin screw its a roots.

KB's are awsome on the highway. Minimal parisitic loss and VERY smoth transition from vacuum to boost. Milage only suffers if you use the boost.

KB's tune is car specific, options, rear end gear, tranny. Autos or manual.

Problem? What problem? Boost fun costs no more then most other fun! A weekend of boost burns probably an extra 50 bucks in gas, less then dinner and drinks!

Roushcharger is a tuned down roots style supercharger. Yes, you get the Roush warranty too but if you change pullies or tune it is no longer warrantied. All that money and you can't get 400 Horsepower?
KB has tunes for autos and sticks. Whipple just came out so nobody can say what those are gonna put down.

I had my dealer install my KB and I still have my factory warranty and extended warranty. Most twin screw superchargers are reasonably quiet compared to centrifugal SC. The Centris have much more whine.
