I asked the same question some time ago on this forum and I was told by several people that the factory supplied Pirellis won't fit on a 17x9 rim, it's just a little too wide for them. Hope this helps.

Because I can get a set of black bullits for $112.00 per wheel and free shipping, not to mention the fact that the tires are like new...so what's the answer to my question?

try Pirelli website

looks like the rims are too wide - maximum rim width for the stock tires is 8.5". The best places to get this information are the tire manufacturers websites. I would never run a tire and rim combo that was not approved. See attached link to Pirelli Pzero Nero specs

06 GT Tungsten with quicksilver stripes, Prem with red interior, FSAB, stickshift. Lightning Performance 62mm TB, WMS CAI with Ram Air box, Kooks Long Tube headers, X-pipe and Magnaflow back system. Diablo Predator tuner. Tokico D-spec adjustable shocks, Eibach Sportline springs, BMR adj panhard. Stern ST-1 Beast 20" x 8.5" & 9.5" staggered wheels in Hyperblack with Nitto 555s, 255/35 & 275/35. 12" Phat antenna.

Ahh... bling... It will not work plus it looks bad with too narrow tires on...

Are they avail in 17x8?

Get some cheapo tires 255/40/17 or so...
