First off, welcome to AFM. Motoblue products aren't bad. I run the pulleys and they're great. These are chambered mufflers like the Flowmaster AT. I would expect they'd be a bit louder than stock. Only concern in they're aluminized steel and will rust over time. They do have nice SS tips though.

Despite some outrageous claims, there aren't too many axlebacks for the GT that will add more than a couple of hp.

Did you have to get a new belt with the pulleys? (This is the best site i have seen so far)

No... The stocker 101" was fine. But I had to step down to a 99" when I added the electric water pump.

I bought the motoblue axle back about a month ago. They are Pypes Violaters. Sound pretty good.

Didn't realize Pypes made an aluminized steel version of the violators.

Stlwagon, I'm curious. Did you have to up the size of the alternator when you went to the electric water pump? In your opinion, did it make any discernible difference in engine performance?

'05 Sonic Blue GT w/ '07 V8 engine, 5-sp, IUP, Beige leather interior, nothing else -
just the way I wanted it. (1 of 113)
OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.

No changes to the electrical system. The stock alternator is strong enough to support. Mfg claims as much as a 12 rwhp gain. I'd say it is a little lower than that. But I really bought it for the improved cooling vs the hp gains. On the other hand, mine failed and the new one is sitting in its box until spring.
