Well... again... good luck... I doubt my wife will realize I have anew hood when I bring the car back... will tell her though since it's our money... even though I made it... sigh....

Edit: Come to think of it I think she'd like if I spent more money... paying somebody for the insalls... it's more about time...

How is that car gonna rust if you keep painting it. I second come on warm weather, had another inch of snow last night 28 degrees this morning, wind is howling, the town salted the roads last night so still no mustang driving. It has been over a month since Ernie has been on the road, come on spring.

Checked Fedex. Apparently it was on the truck yesterday but they had issues and it was returned to their warehouse. Rescheduled for today.

Have you started to tape the hood yet? Are you going to make it functional?
When I had my 82 Mustang, it had a hood scoop and I built a little "night rider" circuit in it with 10 bulbs and red plexiglass, It was the 80's what can I say I had gone to a convenience store once and when I cam out there were a couple cops looking at it, said they liked it. I was afraid of getting a ticket because that would be illegal. I never turned them on (almost never) when I drove it around town.

It'll be functional but it's really more for looks. I'll probably wait until Spring to install it.

Well good luck Mark. We'll have to put white angel in charge of checking the obituaries in your town for the next week or so.

Maybe you should take her out to dinner and spoil her rotten when you get back home. At least you would have gotten a piece before you get shut off......
