Question about one of the ads I saw here

Ok...I just clicked on this 5 Star Shine ad and watched the little video informercial.

What do you guys think of stuff like that ? Is that some kind of scam that really doesn't do what it's advertised to do ?

I remember I used to see these 30 minute infomercials on TV where they would do stuff like take the hood of a car from the junk yard, put their stuff on it and voila ! suddenly it looked like the hood off a brand new car. I would see them treat a car with their product then throw lighter fluid on a small area and light it. Then they would wipe it away and the car looked as new as before. I would just sit back and chuckle when I saw this stuff.

So do you think there is anything to this 5 Star Shine stuff ? Or is it just someone's way of trying to make a quick buck ? Has anyone ever tried using products like this ?

I never believe marketing techniques like that, but thought I would ask...just in case I am missing something.

I got some Finish2000 car wash (lasts through fifty car washes and the water still beads!!!)

And if I wash by hand, it really does. I don't know about "50" but it lasted six months and the water still beaded. Now I can't find it

I love RainX too. Two coats and the water beads are so small, I can barely see them. Mist blows off

Most people on here, seem to use Mothers or Zaino. I would say Zaino gets extremely high marks for amazing shine. Lasts long and I have not heard one single person say they didn't like it or that they liked something lese better.

Zaino Store

All the Zaino people will chime in if they think of it

I've written a book or two. Google David Buschhorn to laugh at my scribblings.
