2005 Ford Mustang Shaker 500 upgrading sound

I have a 2005 Ford Mustang V6 and I upgraded my Shaker 500 to an in-dash TV/DVD/CD player and I connected the radio with the plug I bought at Circuit City and did all the connections on the radio to the original wiring harness. But the 8'' subwoofers in the doors don't work. I know the reason they don't work is because they are amplified and the amp is now not being turned on. Is there anyway to connect these to the new radio without having to buy that plug? I have all high's right now with no bass, I'm installing a 12'' Type R with a 1000 watt MA Audio this weekend but for now I need some sort of bass for the time being. Please help I have the diagram for the Shaker 500 wiring. Thanks.

I bet you're also loosing the channel signals to the amp also! I would spend the $20 and get the correct harness!

What you are missing is the small connector with the rca plugs...
