Wow were these stangs cool

At the dealer today. i must have seen over 1/2 a dozen Boss 302 Mustangs and this very special Salleen 281 supercharged Beryllium mustang. Here is a pic of the boss. i could find the saleen beryllium. Seeing over 6 of the boss mustangs at 60 grand a piece, really made me feel small wanting to buy my 35,000 GT And the Saleen was over 90,000. Just 17,000 for the paint job!!!!

yea, there was no #15 on the car. That would ruin the car for me. But these guys were just works of art, just sitting around.

I also just noticed on Salleen's homepage, there are only 500 of these cars being made. i don't know if they stuck to that, but if they did, and 6 of them were at this single dealer? WOW :hihi:

The price and hype of the new mustang want to bees like the older care is getting out of hand. If Ford produced them then it would be something but all these after market guys and some dealers creating there own versions is getting tiresome. Just my thoughts

theres 2 at my local dealership and 6 saleen 281s....and the salesman at the dealership said that the 2 were going to double in value in the next 10 years....but who knows just like travelers said if Ford produced them id believe it...but i dont know...i wouldnt be surprised one way or the other...

The Saleen PJ edition is one awesome looking Mustang... I just hope that if Ford makes a Boss for 2009-2010 it looks as good (and a little more afordable).

Yeah, Ford should use the Saleen PJ as a template for the Boss 302:
400hp stroked modular 3V 5.0L with 10.5:1 compression, Watts link, and lots of the styling from the PJ like the chrome trim and shaker scoop.

Then comes the tricky part. Make it so I can at least buy it for MSRP (as much as it pains me to pay over invoice).

93 GT hatchback, 5 speed, 3.08 gear, mechanical clutch. Mods: K&N filter, air silencer removed

07 GT premium coupe, stick, IUP, comfort group, 3.55 gear, spoiler delete

I wish Ford would come out with a car between the GT500 and the GT lets say (BOSS) a N/A 5.4L3V forged bottom end. I would buy that option in a heart beat and slap on a turbo or s/c. If they want to be competive starting next year they better do something. Mustang sales have been falling and the NEW Camaro and Challenger are comming out with a lot more power. I bet will see a 5.4L option become available as an option. Or at least I hope so!

Power House Turbo, SCT-X-Cal2, Diablo MAFia, CDC Shaker, CDC Aggressive Front Chin, 3DCarbon Grill, CHE UCA, LCA, Kmember Brace, SPEC 3+ LPP option, AEM Wide band and Electronic Boost Controler, SOS Piller Pod.

I've seen the Parnelli Jones Edition in person and you'll actually think about it, even with that price but then (hopefully) reality sets in. They sound awesome, not like a standard GT... not that there's anything wrong with a GT of course.

I looked at 2 PJ's in my dealer showroom on
monday...looks good, but sticker was $62,000, and they were not
showing any ADM which I am sure there is. Didn't have time to check
with my salesman on the actual figure. They also have several Saleen,
one of which is an Alloy Xtreme- nice, but 80 grand is a bit much..........
will be content with my GT for a while.

2011 GT Premium, Sterling gray/ black interior,
400A, HIDs, security , comfort
louvers, scoops, rear cover,MRT struts
19" nickel lustre wheels, GT500 mufflers
