Control Arm Help

Hey guys,
Am attempting to replace the control arms on my 2006 Mustang with GT500 arms and have run into a problem if anyone can help it would be appreciated.
The problem i'm attempting to remove the pinch bolt that holds the ball joint in the steering knuckle I removed the nut easily but the bolt just spins and does not back out after many turns is this threaded in the knuckle and can I whack it out or is there something i'm doing wrong.
Here is a picture to show the part i'm refering to # note that this picture was sourced from the internet and is not my car

you will need a punch or something similar to drive the bolt out. it is not threaded into the control arm. good luck and welcome to the forum!
