My 2005 V6 has been throwing the P2068 Code for over a year. I'm having a baby boy in august and I can't keep driving it not inspected and risk a hefty fine. I have done all the work to get it inspected, ball joints, tie rods, brakes, e-brakes, etc.
The only thing holding me up is this P2068 code, something along the lines of "Fuel Level Sensor B High". I've done my research, read the TSBs, and replaced the two parts that I thought caused the problem. The fuel pump and the fuel sender assembly.
Attached are the pictures of the parts I used to replace the old. I've spent $400+ trying to diagnose this problem and I've come up empty. I've even replaced the fuses.
Am I missing something obvious? Is the rainwater getting in causing problems with the wiring and electrical components? Did I order the wrong parts? I've seen that this is a common problem, but it doesn't seem that there is an obvious fix.
Any help and guidance to this forum newbie would be greatly appreciated.
