My 2005 mustang has a crack on the driver side strut tower. I have never encountered this before. Do you think I can fix it by having it welded or should I get one of those strut tower repair caps? Any advice is much appreciated.
I see non metal filler material, and sanding marks. Somebody has done a "hide-it" repair on this already. It looks like there may be more hidden damage. You are right. I would not drive it, at least not hard at all.
agree with the above...bondo bernies frame restoration service has been hard at work!!!!! It is likely repairable but will probably require new sheet metal...which is available...even a replacement piece from a junkyard
